El miércoles marca el primer día completo de acción en el festival checo y la organización ha dejado claro que no habrá tiempo para calentamientos. La primera jornada fuerte del evento desplegará un abanico sónico que va desde el metal progresivo más técnico hasta el mosh pit más salvaje de la vieja escuela.
Cuatro pilares para un inicio demoledor
El cartel de este día inaugural concentra propuestas de altísimo nivel, uniendo a referentes mundiales en un resumen que promete intensidad desde las primeras horas:
Periphery: Los iconos del djent y el metal progresivo moderno pisarán el escenario de la fortaleza por primera vez en su carrera. Se espera un despliegue de virtuosismo técnico, polirritmias y melodías gancheras que los fanáticos del género llevan años esperando ver en este entorno.
Triptykon: Liderados por el legendario Thomas Gabriel Fischer (Hellhammer, Celtic Frost), los suizos desatarán su densa e intensa mezcla de black, death y doom metal. Una descarga de oscuridad pura, pesadez monolítica y misticismo vanguardista.
Amenra: Desde Bélgica llega una de las bandas más esperadas de la escena contemporánea. Su propuesta de post-metal es mucho más que música; se trata de una experiencia catártica, dolorosa y sumamente atmosférica que transformará el ambiente de la fortaleza.
Municipal Waste: El contrapeso perfecto a la densidad del día llegará desde Estados Unidos. Los reyes del crossover thrash se encargarán de desatar los mosh pits más rápidos, fiesteros y violentos de la jornada a base de riffs acelerados y actitud skate punk.
Todo listo en la Fortaleza de Josefov
Este bombardeo sónico inaugurará oficialmente la nueva edición del Brutal Assault, que se celebrará del 5 al 8 de agosto. Ubicado en la histórica e imponente Fortaleza de Josefov (República Checa), el festival destaca no solo por su cartel, sino por la atmósfera única que brindan sus murallas del siglo XVIII y su diseño Laberíntico.
